Institute for Solar Energy

The institute mainly engages in developing key technologies of the solar photovoltaic and providing technology support for PV industry, including technologies of photovoltaic (PV) materials, solar cells, PV system, PV applications, PV instruments and equipment. The institute also provides PV product testing and evaluation services.

Prof. Fengyan Zhang

Prof. Fengyan Zhang is the director of Institute of Solar Energy. Her research interests lies in semiconductor materials, BIPV, solar system and DC micro grid. She has 90 issued US patents and more than 50 publications.
